Adipose Tissue Research Compound
Adipotide is a peptidomimetic compound targeting the prohibitin receptor on white adipose tissue vasculature. Studied for its selective induction of apoptosis in adipose tissue blood vessels in preclinical metabolic research.
Adipotide is a chimeric peptidomimetic consisting of a targeting domain (CKGGRAKDC) that binds prohibitin on the vasculature of white adipose tissue, linked to a pro-apoptotic domain (D(KLAKLAK)2) that disrupts mitochondrial membranes. The compound was designed to selectively deliver a cytotoxic signal to the blood vessels supplying white adipose tissue, thereby inducing apoptosis in adipose vasculature and subsequent adipocyte death through ischemia. Research applications include adipose tissue vascular biology, prohibitin receptor pharmacology, targeted apoptosis mechanism studies, and investigations into adipose tissue remodeling.
GLP-1 Receptor Agonist
Semaglutide is a long-acting GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist. Used extensively in metabolic and endocrine research to study insulin secretion, glucagon suppression, and energy homeostasis.
Dual GIP/GLP-1 Receptor Agonist
Tirzepatide is a novel dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist. Studied for its combined incretin effects on glucose metabolism, insulin sensitivity, and energy regulation in metabolic research settings.
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide
NAD+ is a critical coenzyme found in all living cells, central to redox reactions and energy metabolism. Studied extensively for its roles in sirtuin activation, DNA repair, and cellular aging research.
