Oxytocin Acetate (Lyophilized)
Oxytocin Acetate is a synthetic nonapeptide identical to the endogenous neurohypophysial hormone. Studied for its roles in social bonding, neuromodulation, HPA axis regulation, and peripheral tissue signaling.
Oxytocin Acetate is the acetate salt form of the endogenous nonapeptide hormone and neuropeptide oxytocin, produced naturally in the hypothalamus and released by the posterior pituitary gland. It contains a characteristic disulfide bridge between cysteine residues at positions 1 and 6. Oxytocin is extensively studied in the context of social behavior, pair bonding, maternal behavior, trust, and anxiety modulation via central oxytocin receptor (OXTR) signaling. Peripheral research applications include uterine contractility, lactation, cardiovascular regulation, and anti-inflammatory pathways. It is also investigated in models of autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and social anxiety.
PT-141 (Bremelanotide)
PT-141 (Bremelanotide) is a cyclic heptapeptide melanocortin receptor agonist derived from Melanotan II. Studied for its activity at MC3R and MC4R receptors, with research applications in central melanocortin pathway modulation and CNS-mediated signaling studies.
